Exploring the breath and being curious about body alignment is at the core of this practice. Participants will move through poses with mindful intention, given options to modify with or without props, and be encouraged to breathe into the body, letting the breath influence the pose. Hatha yoga is suitable for all participant levels, no prior experience needed.  Individuals can expect to pause in poses for 3-5 counts of breath so adjustments can be made to enhance the time on the mat. 

Props that can be introduced into class include: bolster, blocks, yoga strap, gertie ball, dhanda staff, or blankets. Preregistration is required for this class and participants must be in the studio 5 minutes before class starts due to the building being secured.
