Roll it Out classes are a great way to learn how to perform self-massage (self-myofascial release) of trigger points in the muscles using foam rollers and or myofascial release balls. Trigger points are sore spots that form within muscles or tendons. Foam rolling is a way of massaging away muscle soreness in trigger points, and preparing your muscles for deeper stretching. Regular use of foam rollers for myofascial release can alleviate muscle tightness, helping to ensure optimal joint range of motion and enhance overall movement performance. This roll it out class will teach a variety of myofascial release techniques that you can also do on your own while inviting intentional pauses for rest throughout class.
