In Mind Over Matter individuals learn how to get out of their heads and into their bodies using a variety of props while exploring movement.  Participants can expect movements that help improve mobility, balance, stamina and strength while fostering connection to breath and body awareness. Mind Over Matter blends various wellness formats to give individuals the opportunity to grow their practice and independently move with ease. 

The class will include seated postures and standing postures using chairs, foam rollers, resistance bands, gertie balls, and weights to target specific goals of each class.  Whether you are seated or standing, the use of props encourages participants to move, breathe, and experience stability while gaining bodily awareness.  This class is suitable and encouraged for ALL fitness levels, including those recovering from injury, surgery, as well as individuals searching for pre and postnatal wellness options. 

All props will be provided at the studio with several options available to customize individual needs of participants.
